- Description
- Base Custodial Service for Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS) which includes JB CHS Air and JB CHS Weapon Station both located in Charleston, South Carolina: The service consists of providing all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at JB CHS in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, Joint Base Common Output Levels (JB COLS), instructions, and commercial practices. The cleaning tasks and frequencies are established in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). There are four levels of service (LOS) identified as Level 1 Cleaning (Prestige) appx. 31 buildings, Level 2 Cleaning (Basic) appx. 208 buildings, Level 3 (Academic Facilities) 0 buildings (LOS 3 is presently RESERVED. These types of facilities will not be included, but could be considered at a later date), and Level 4 Cleaning (Special Requirements) appx. 11 buildings. This acquisition is currently in the 8(a) Program where it will remain. The performance period for this service is an approximate six (6) month basic period of 1 April 2011 thru 30 September 2011 plus 4 (twelve month) option years. All labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other furnished property and services except as specified in the contract as Government Furnished Property will be provided by the contractor. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720 with a small business size standard of $16,500,000. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 Nov 2010 on the Federal Business opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
