- Description
- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, has a requirement for routine solid waste disposal services and equipment in include cardboard recycling. The government proposes to award a single award contract with 1 base year and (4) one year options for renewal. This solicitation is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102 (a) and is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This procurement is being conducted as full and open competition. North American Industry Classification System 562111 applies. The small business size standard is $11.5M. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The government intends to award a single award contract, however reserves the right to make a multiple award. Facsimile and telephonic requests are not acceptable. Offeror's must use the electronic medium outlined above to access solicitation package. Solicitation will be available on or about 10/13/2010. Offers should be submitted to the address listed on page 1 of the solicitation. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, completing register to recieve notifications in FedBizOpps will automatically electronically notify you of any amendments to this solicitation. Solicitation Number, VA-257-08-RQ-0156, shall be listed on all corresponse electronic or hard copy for identification purposes. All responsible sources must submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) to be considered. All responses must be received no later that 2:00pm CST, October 27, 2010.
