- This Notice of Intent is issued to advise industry of the Government's intentto increase the ceiling of contract N65236-06-D-8848 with VT Milcom, Inc., tosupport C4ISR installations at shore facilities, onboard surface ships,submarines, special purpose crafts and other vehicles. SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic(SSC-LANT) is tasked to provide a full range of shore site, surface andsubsurface command and control, communications, air traffic control,intelligence, cryptologic and warfare systems installation and technicalsupport services to a multitude of customers worldwide. These services includeequipment acquisition, installation, system/equipment modification, test andcheckout, systems training and documentation preparation. This contractprovides the program management, engineering design, industrial work,operational verification and other installation support services necessary toaccomplish the SPAWAR C4ISR maintenance, modernization and new systeminstallation processes. This notice of intent IS NOT a request for competitiveproposals. This increase in ceiling of $11.5M will be issued to satisfy theagency's needs during the remaining period of contract performance while thecompetitive, follow-on procurement continues to be processed.
