Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FM442702780235; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-45, effective date 01 Oct 2010; Defense DCN 20100802, effective date 01 Oct 2010; and AFAC 2010-1001, effective date 01 Oct 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325120. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 8120. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2813. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for the following requirement: CLIN 0001: Dry Ice Pellets for ASWBPL to be delivered to David Grant Medical Center on a weekly basis of 1,000 lbs per week for the period of performance of 01 October 2010 - 30 September 2011. Qty: 52 Weeks Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
