- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA ) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Computer Management Sciences, Inc., 634 Lakeview Dr., Hartfield, VA 23071-3113. SSA needs to renew maintenance on its CPExpert Software. CPExpert applies expert system rules, analysis modules, and queuing models to identify performance problems and solutions in a Statistical Analysis Software database. The software is proprietary and, to the extent of the Government's knowledge, Computer Management Sciences is the only company that sells CPExpert software and maintenance. The anticipated contract line items, with a period of performance of 10/17/2010-10/16/2011, are: CLIN 0001 Renewal of maintenance for CPExpert WLM Component Site License - Quantity: 2 CLIN 0002 Renewal of maintenance for CPExpert DB2 Component Site License - Quantity: 2 CLIN 0003 Renewal of maintenance for CPExpert CICS Component Site License - Quantity: 2 CLIN 0004 Renewal of maintenance for CPExpert WebSphere MQ Series Component Site License - Quantity: 2 CLIN 0005 Renewal of maintenance for CPExpert DASD Component Site License - Quantity: 2 Any other vendor that can provide maintenance for this CPExpert software must present an electronic version of its commercial price list, or, if applicable, its GSA Schedule and/or NASA SEWP price information. The Government will neither pay for information received nor provide evaluation results to the sender. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not constitute a request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, SSA will proceed with a sole source acquisition. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing to Joanna.Lobl@ssa.gov by Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 9:00 AM EST. Telephone calls regarding this matter will not be accepted, nor will they be returned.
