Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center “ Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is conducting a market survey of potential sources who may be interested in the development and manufacture of solid state lighting for use on Naval Vessels. The resulting production units will need to be capable of being in production by 2011. This survey in no way binds the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. The information provided will assist NSWCCD in understanding available solid state lighting technologies. Defense and commercial contractors, including small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and woman-owned small businesses are encouraged to participate. Respondents should demonstrate that they currently produce or can initiate a manufacturing line for a FY 2011 procurement for the above mentioned technologies in the power ranges specified for commercial or other military applications.
