- The purpose of this amendment is to reiterate information from the initialannouncement as well as the previous amendments and to provide additional information regarding what the Government is seeking in terms of a submission. This is NOT a Request For Proposal (RFP) nor a Request for Quote (RFQ). As stated in the original notice, the U.S. Army is contemplating award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). If you are a small business and you have received a copy of the TDP, you may submit a capabilities statement for your company. Even if this TDP does not directly apply to your company, but the notice indicated work that your company produces (i.e. plastics, composite) you may respond, as long as you received the TDP. The Government will NOT evaluate Proposals or Quotes as that is not what this notice calls for. There is no standard format for the capabilities statement; however, it should provide a background on your company and your ability to perform this work in general terms. There are no SPECIFIC quantities as this is for a BPA. Specific details are not provided and are not being requested as this is for a basic BPA. Additionally, there will be NO extension. As previously stated, capabilities statements are due 25 October 2010 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
