- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation for the Kentucky Air National Guard is to add an additional lodging supplier to a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Unit Training Assmemblies. The current Blanket Purchase Agreement hotel is unable to meet three UTA weekends for the 2011 Fiscal Year. An order to qualify for this Blanket Purchase Agreement, proposals must be able to supply lodgings for the UTA weekends of: 5-6 November 2010, 10-11 March 2011, and 13-14 May 2011. A typical UTA weekend requires approximately 20-30 rooms on the preceeding Friday night and 50-75 rooms for the Saturday night. Room requirements are included on the attached statement of work. Lodging Facilities must be located within a 15 mile radius of the base located at 1101 Grade Lane, Louisville, KY 40213-2678. The Government will not pay more than the annual rates allowed for in the Joint Federal Travel Regulation. Preference will be given to hotels offering the GSA FedRooms annual rate or better. All vendors must be U.S. Fire Administration/FEMA compliant. Vendors have 10 days to respond. Responses will not be accepted after 16:00PM EST on 22 October 2010. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.
