- Description
- Solicitation The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary to successfully install, replace, and refurbish red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW) inserts and pull flying squirrels from existing red-cockaded woodpecker cavity trees in accordance with the specifications included in the contract. Work is to be performed within the boundaries of the Angelina/Sabine, Sam Houston and Davy Crockett National Forests. This is a Request for Proposals which will result in a firm fixed price, performance based, indefinite-delivery, requirements contract for a basic period of performance from January 1, 2011, through December 31, 2011, plus four one-year option periods. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the Option Period(s), if exercised. The Government anticipates making award to one offeror per Forest. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer.
