- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, Elizabeth City, NC hereby announces the following general categories of supplies and services which are forecasted to be procured during Fiscal Year 2011. These supplies and services may be procured multiple times throughout Fiscal Year 2011 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Acquisitions in excess of $25,000 will be advertised on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Acquisitions between $10,000 and $25,000 will not be advertised. Acquisitions subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement, NAFTA, or other Free Trade Agreements, will not be subject to the 40 day period of time between publication of the synopsis and receipt of offers as this notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.203(h). The Engineering Services Division (ESD) contains the Airworthiness Sustainment Branch, Engineering Support Branch, Aircraft Technical Publications Branch and Facilities Management. ESD provides ground and auxiliary support for the Long Range Surveillance (C-130), Medium Range Surveillance (HU-25 and HC-144), Medium Range Recovery (MH-60), and Short Range Recovery (HH-65) product lines. Forecasted contract actions are for supplies and services in support of the aforementioned branches of ESD. These contract actions will be for the purchase, repair, exchange, and overhaul of equipment, as well as equipment and services related to facilities management, production and distribution of publications, graphics, reliability-centered maintenance, aircraft corrosion control and aircraft aging.
