- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 6140. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order for which delivery orders may be placed for one(1) year. The procurement will be in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, utilizing FAR Part 12, commercial procedures. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 1 Nov 2010 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The approved source is Optima Batteries (OUJ55) P/N 8002-002. An alternate source must submit data and be approved by cognizant Government engineering activity. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more time at the descretion of the government. The duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.
