- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Laser Diode Arrays for DESynI-LidarLaser Development which was posted on October 6, 2010.You are notified that thefollowing changes are made: NASA/GSFC has received the following technical question andthe answer is provided;Q: Concerning specification 2.7: The statement of work specifies that a hard(indium-free) solder should be used on the p-side of the diode bars in this package. Arethere restrictions on the solders used in the rest of the package?A: A hard, In-free solder should be used on the p-side of the diode bars. For thisspecific solicitation, there is not such requirement for the n-side. The due date for responses is not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments.
