- CT-101 Statement of Qualifications The Subcontractor shall replace the existing two circulating pumps serving cooling tower CT-101 with two new (Government-furnished) pumps of greater capacity. The Subcontractor shall replace the existing 125 HP circulating pump motors with new 250 HP motors (Government-furnished). Replacement of the pumps/motors will involve modification to the existing concrete bases and pump sumps to accommodate the new equipment. The Subcontractor shall add electric operators for major system valves, flow meters, temperature transmitters, and pressure transmitters. The Subcontractor shall install electrical wiring to all new control points for analog input and analog output capability. In order to take CT-101 out of service, the Subcontractor shall provide a temporary cooling tower. Once on-line, the Subcontractor shall provide 24/7 service-equipped personnel, with a maximum response time of (2) hours for emergency servicing/repairs. The Subcontractor shall make minimum weekly visits during the operation of the temporary cooling tower system for water treatment, vibration checks, equipment temperature checks, etc.
