Description
The Program Manager Individual Combat and Equipment (PM ICE), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), is seeking industry input that identifies potential sources and best practice information regarding the manufacturing of a government-designed USMC Pack System. It is anticipated that production would be satisfied through multiple contract awards. Any proprietary information submitted may be used in establishing requirements, but specific offeror information will be safeguarded as proprietary. There is no page restriction associated with this RFI; however, an executive summary, not to exceed five (5) pages, should accompany each submission. The Marine Corps will use the results of this announcement to determine what capabilities currently exist in the marketplace which meet the Government's requirements outlined above. No related Industry Day is scheduled in conjunction with this RFI. No Product Demonstration Models are requested. No telephonic responses to this RFI will be accepted. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted electronically no later than 5 November, 2010 to Peggy Smith, at email PEGGY.L.SMITH1@usmc.mil.
