- U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE SPACE IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (SFO# 0MO2090) REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing Class A office space consisting of approximately 1,725 rentable square feet of space. Rentable space must yield approximately 1,500 usable square feet of office and related space. The space will be occupied by the Transportation Security Administration.. LEASE TERM: 10 years; 5 years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space configuration shall be conducive to an efficient layout. Consideration for an efficient layout will include, but will not be limited to, the following: size and location of interior fire (support) walls, size and number of columns, column placement, bay depths, window size and placement, convector size and placement, electrical and telephone accessibility, any angles, curves or offsets that will result in an inefficient use of space. Additionally, space shall be in a fully secured facility. Space shall be located in a professional office setting and within close proximity to railroad yards. Space shall not be located within a base flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including a total of six (6) on-site parking spaces. The agency shall have access to their space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Normal hours of operation for the agency are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Federal holidays). Occupancy shall be required by January 31, 2010. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the following boundaries: North: 20 th Street South: 31 st Street East: Grand Avenue West: 1-35/Southwest Trafficway EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1) Building name and address. 2) Scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
