- Description
- The objective of this project is to provided services for after-hours, holiday, weekend, and emergency radio coverage a fully operational facility by qualified personnel equipped to meet the Government's requirement of this schedule and specifications herein. Radio/telephone coverage is required for incident responses to in providing safety of agency employees in the field whose work schedules are outside of the Government's Dispatch Center(s) regular business hours. Government Dispatch Centers cover lands managed by the Siuslaw National Forest, Willamette National Forest, and Eugene District Bureau of Land Management. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supplies, material, equipment, labor, services, transportation (except those items listed as Government-Furnished), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications, which will be referenced in the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance is a base year, plus four optional years from the effective date of the notice to proceed; the estimated start work date is November 1, 2010. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. Project work will be confined within the Siuslaw National Forest Supervisor's Office (SO) in Corvallis, Oregon; Hebo Ranger District (RD) in Hebo, Oregon; Central Coast RD/ Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (ODNRA) in Waldport, Florence, Reedsport, Mapleton and Alsea, Oregon; and Coverage for Eugene District BLM and Willamette National Forest Supervisor's Office (SO) in Springfield, Oregon; Detroit Ranger District (RD) in Detroit, Oregon; Sweet Home RD in Sweet Home, Oregon; McKenzie River RD in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon; and Middle Fork RD in Westfir, Oregon. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
