Description
AMOUNT: The United States Government is seeking to lease approximately 50,255 rentable square feet yielding a minimum of 43,700 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet to a maximum of 45,885 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet of office and related space in St. Petersburg, FL, within the following delineated area: DELINEATED AREA: North: Tampa Bay South: 5th Avenue South East: Tampa Bay West: 28th Street S to 22nd Avenue N to 34th Street N (US19) to 49th Street N to Bayside Bridge REQUIRED: Single building, contiguous space is preferred. Space must be located in Class A building, in a prime commercial office district with attractive surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The building site should not be located within a 100 year flood plain. The Government does not accept sub-leases. Additional special requirements that apply will be addressed in the market survey and the subsequent solicitation for offers. Building(s) should be of modern design, built for efficient use of floor space, and with minimal structural barriers (i.e. columns, irregularly shaped supporting walls, etc., that make office and furniture layout complex, costly, and inefficient). Space shall house a national program office and shall be utilized for national and regional conferences and shall therefore be convenient to air transportation and major highways, and have ample and desirable lodging and dining facilities nearby. Surface parking for 200 vehicles is required within 2 city blocks. A minimum ceiling height of 8'6" is required; however, approximately 2,000 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet must have the capability of minimum 10' ceiling height.
