- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE. Anticipated solicitation issuance is not available at this time. In order to attend this Industry Day activity, contractors must provide the following information to the email addresses Tina.a.cox@usace.army.mil and Vikki.d.grubaugh@usace.army.mil. Please provide your Company Name, Employee name, SSN, DOB, DL number. This information must be provided no later than November 2nd, 2010 at 12:30 PM. LATE SUBMITTALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND REQUESTORS WHO SUBMIT LATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS. Please note that each company is limited to two (2) personnel. All attendees must bring hard hats, eye protection and ear protection Responses are limited to Small Businesses only. This is a Special Notice to inform interested SMALL BUSINESS contractors of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa Districts planned Industry Day and subsequent possible solicitation for Rehabilitation of Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/NDI)Facilities, Buildings 3001 and 3221, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This notice invites interested contractors to attend and participate in an Industry Day meeting on November 5th, 2010 beginning at 9:00 AM at the Corps of Engineers building 412 on Tinker AFB. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. The purpose of our Industry Day is to gather input from interested and experienced contractors for the purpose of improving our planned Rehabilitation of FPI/NDI B3001 solicitation. To facilitate open communication between the Government and contractors, we are extending an invitation for contractors to come in individually and meet with a small panel of Government personnel. This panel will include representatives from our Contracting, Engineering, and Construction divisions. Industry Day meetings with each interested contractor will be scheduled for approximately 1/2 (hr) each, depending on the number of attendees. The Government is also interested in any useful ideas and input you wish to provide to help improve our proposed solicitation/contract. The following are some of the questions and concerns we are soliciting input: a) Do you have questions regarding access and work hours? b) Do you see storage of materials as real concern? c) Are there any comments of suggestions regarding the draft plans and specifications? Written comments or suggestion on our approach to the upcoming solicitation are welcome. Any input received will be evaluated and considered for possible information into the solicitation. Written comments should be emailed to the email address provided below. The draft technical specifications and Drawings will be provided via email only to only those that respond to this notice to the email address provided below.
