Description
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This procurement is for Remington Ammunition. NAICS Code: 332992. Supplies is to be delivered to Office of Law Enforcement, 601 W. Broadway, Suite 115A, Louisville, KY 40202. This aquisition is unrestricted. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. Once you are registered you will be able to view solicitations on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). However, you will be able to view the synopsis of the solicitation without registering at www.fbo.gov. For questions at Interior's site, please call the help desk at (703)390-6633. This will be your only means of obtaining the solicitation/award. All contractors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of award. CAUTION: This solicitation has been issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organizations representation and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting your offer, failure to do so will render your offer non-responsive. In an effort to maintain a better log of inquiries/questions and to provide more detailed and quicker responses, all questions shall be in writing. Questions may be e-mailed to jamese_promise@fws.gov. Last day to submit questions or inquiries is October 29, 2010. Inquiries received within 48 hours of the closing date may not receive a response. Deadline: All quotes must be received at this office no later than 12:30 p.m. EST on November 2, 2010. Quotes shall be submitted on letterhead and must include, a minimum, unit price for each item, item description as detailed above, and DUNS number. Quotes will be accepted by email at jamese_promise@fws.gov or by FAX at (404) 679-4093, Attention: Ms. Jamese Promise only. NO QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA IDEAS-PD. QUOTES SUBMITTED VIA IDEAS-PD WILL BE NON-RESPONSIVE. *Contractor shall submit the following items: -Standard Form 1449 and all amendments (Print from NBC, this is the solicitation) - Complete and return first page of solicitation, including bidder's complete mailing address, telephone number, bidder's name, title, and signature.-Quote(s) along with photo's and/or brochures of products if applicable-*****Initial table of context page of clauses section signifying that read all clauses******-Past Performance Documents To view solicitation, all applicable clauses, & scope of work please follow the following steps: Step 1: Please go to www.fbo.gov and type in soliciation number. Step 2: When solicitation synopsis comes up, click on it. Step 3: Once in solicitation synopsis please read notice details in it's entirety and if you stroll down to the bottom you will see hyperlink tabs that says solicitation. Step 4: Click on link, once in there it will bring you to our NBC website. Print solicitation (SF 1449). Step 5: At the top left-hand corner you will see a little blue box that says clauses and attahcments, click on it. Step 5: In this area, if you stroll down you will find all clauses and attachments that you need Step 6: Repeat this process for all amendments.
