- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Waste Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Loretto, Pennsylvania. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated yearly contract requirement include: Services to include two (2) thirty four (34) cubic yard compactor estimated 52 pulls per year and two (2) thirty (30) cubic yard compactor estimated 26 pulls per year, Government-owned compactors for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Loretto, located at 772 St. Joseph Street, Loretto, Pennsylvania. The expected trash-dumping destination for all refuse in this contract is the approved landfill for the Contractor. Disposal fees shall be billed to the Government at cost without markup. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 1, 2010, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about November 30, 2010; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
