Description
Lift Station for North Overlook Beach Flood Recovery Lake Red Rock Project 1.Prior to award, the apparent low bidder will be requested to provide manufacturer product cut sheets for review. Products shall be approved by the Government prior to delivery. 2.All supplies must be quoted to include FOB delivery to Lake Red Rock Project, 1105 North Hwy T-15, Knoxville, Iowa. All supplies must be delivered to the Lake Red Rock maintenance compound no later than 31 January 2011. Description of Supplies: 1.One packaged sewage lift station with the following specifications: A.Wetwell basin will be constructed from fiberglass with the following dimensions: minimum 60 inch diameter and 96 inch depth. Wetwell basin will have the following features: 4 inlet, 2 NPT discharge, and a minimum 3 ballast support flange on the radius of the bottom of the basin. The basin will not have a pre-drilled inlet and will have all needed basin components to allow for onsite inlet drilling and installation by the Corps of Engineers. B.Aluminum basin cover with hinged access door, lifting handle, locking provisions, stainless steel hinges and a bug-free vent. Cover will have a minimum service rating of 150 lbs/sq ft. C.Control panel will be constructed from a corrosive resistant material with a padlockable latch, 25 watt high water alarm light, pump/panel circuit breaker, & pump start pushbutton. Control panel will not have an alarm horn. D.Two (2) 3HP, 3450RPM, 60Hz, 240 volt single phase submersible grinder pumps. Pump capacity shall be 35 gpm at 65 TDH. E.The two (2) pumps will be alternately sequenced using a mercury level float control system as follows: 1.Cycle 1: Pump Off, Pump 1 On, Pump 2 On, Alarm. 2.Cycle 2: Pump Off, Pump 2 On, Pump 1 On, Alarm. F.Stainless steel guide rail with stainless steel support brackets and fitting assemblies for each pump & a lifting system capable of supporting the weight of the pumping units. G.Stainless steel discharge piping.
