- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for support to the Office of Security, Physical Security Division (PhySec). SCOPE: TSA seeks a contractor to provide the following services: (1) Technical and Engineering Support; (2) Assessment, Documentation, and Implementation; (3) Program Management Support; (4) Infrastructure Planning, System Engineering and Design; (5) System, Equipment, and Material Procurement; (6) System Integration and Installation; (7) Maintenance Support; and (8) Preventive Maintenance Records and Documentation. These services relate to any phase of development, design, installation, engineering, and technical support for integrated computer security system solutions and projects to include high security locks; duress alarms intrusion detection system; CCTV/DVR systems; Hirsh/BOSCH Electronic Access Controls; Marks I Qwik stand alone lock Systems; and Video Intercom/Door Answering Systems. Services also include analysis and acquisition support of hardware and software, integration and migration support services for electronic security systems management, and network solution analysis. SET-ASIDE STATUS: This requirement is set-aside for 8(a) Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5M. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The contract ordering period is anticipated to be five years (i.e., base and four one-year options). The estimated contract value shall not exceed $25,000,000. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The contractor shall provide these services at TSA headquarters and facilities in the National Capital Region; facilities throughout the United States to include Federal Security Director offices on-/off-site at over 449 airports; and at facilities in Puerto Rico, the Samoa Islands, Guam, Saipan/Tinian, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
