Description
1.0Request for Information: The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for non-destructive testing to locate and determine the extent and direction of cracking in a thin arch concrete dam. Specific situations/scenarios for this technology and process may vary. We are investigating the availability of technology and processes, and innovative ideas to map cracking through a thin concrete dam. Contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers with expertise and/or technology are invited to submit their qualifications. 2.0CCR: Companies and institutions must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to participate. 3.0Response: Please provide your capability package by COB 30 November 2010, and include the following: 3.1Description of your crack mapping system. 3.2Description of your methodology, including methods proposed to map cracks in various situations/scenarios. 3.3Provide specifications for any equipment or technology used in the mapping process and include: 3.3.1The name of the technology, manufacturer information, and any applicable licensing, copyright and patent information; and your relationship to the technology (owner, supplier, operator, etc.). 3.3.2Performance history, uses, strengths, weaknesses, and success rate. 3.3.3Describe configuration and geometry of facilities where the proposed system has been applied. 3.3.4Provide a completed questionnaire (attached).3.4Send your package to: Carol DitmerBureau of ReclamationDenver Federal Center86-278106th & Kipling StreetDenver, CO 80225 4.0Questions: Please email questions to cditmer@usbr.gov.
