- Generic 2010 SOW The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine is seeking sources capable of conducting insect surveys for Emerald Ash Borer Beetles (EAB). At this time EAB are found or surveys are being conducted in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin Surveys are currently being performed by a combination of contractors and federal and state employees. Not all states listed are conducting surveys. All of this information is for market research only. This announcement will remain open and be updated with new states as applicable. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) will be used to help determine acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, GSA schedule, full-and-open competition, cooperative agreement with State Agency). Companies interested must submit the following: (1) A maximum two pages describing capabilities (history, expertise, number of employees) (2) A list of the states where the company is capable of performing survey work (2a) This list should include states not currently infested Pricing information may also be submitted but is not required. This could include an hourly or daily rate, price per trap, or other method of compensation. Attached is a generic statement of work.
