Description

Title: U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS OFFICE SPACE IN HAYS, KS Requirement:The United States Government, U.S. Geological Survey, is modifying solicitation number USGS-CR-0806 and is now seeking to lease approximately 2,000 Rentable Square Feet of professional office space in Hays, KS. The space shall yield a minimum of 1,500 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet (OASF) to a maximum of 2,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet (OASF). All prospective buildings/properties must be physically located within the following delineated area: North: Feedlot RdWest: 230th AveSouth: Munjor RdEast: Toulon Ave For further clarification of the delineated area - a detailed map is available upon request. Buildings submitted for consideration must be outside the 100 year floodplain, in a quality building, professional in appearance, and of sound and substantial construction having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) for disabled access, and must be altered or constructed to meet the Government's requirements. All sites submitted shall be fully accessible via paved roads. Six (6) assigned parking spaces for Government vehicles must be provided on-site in a well lit area and an additional six (6) general or open parking spaces must be available for visitors and employees on site. The lease shall be a fully serviced lease incorporating as part of the rental consideration all services and supplies, taxes, insurance, maintenance, and tenant improvements. To submit a location for inspection, expressions of interest must be submitted in writing no later than October 15, 2010 and should include the following: Address/location of site, square footage, name, address and phone number of individual to be contacted, name of recorded owner, and evidence of authority to represent the owner as necessary.
