- Synopsis Department of Justice, United States Marshals Service Specialized Development Server & Display Systems for the Investigative Operations Division (IOD) The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for One (1) Specialized Development Server & 55" Multi-Touch Integrated LCD Display System (wall mountable) which does not use a projector or screen overlay and is capable of supporting unlimited multi-user, multi-instance, multi-application, and multi-touch interaction and link analysis, allowing the user the ability to visualize, explore, manipulate, present, and broadcast analytical information through existing applications. System shall enable users to visualize multiple intelligence products simultaneously. System shall be architected for high performance direct access to graphics card processing capabilities providing smooth, natural manipulation of on-screen content without enabling extremely precise control without parallax associated with LCD and plasma screen overlays or shadows associated with front projection systems. The United States Marshals Service (USMS) also has a requirement for Six (6) Specialized Development Server & 22" 3M MicroTouch Display Systems which do not use a projector or screen overlay and are capable of supporting unlimited multi-user, multi-instance, multi-application, and multi-touch interaction, allowing the user the ability to visualize, explore, manipulate, present, and broadcast analytical information through existing applications. Systems shall enable users to visualize multiple intelligence products simultaneously. Systems shall allow users to be able to better enhance geo-spatial intelligence products, link analysis, timelines, and age progression photograph technology. Vendor shall also provide applications and/or server development kits (SDK) that include Geo-spatial Platform Seat License, WorldWinds, Google Earth Plug-ins, Storyboard SDK, and Feltboard SDK. This notice of intent is a request for competitive quotations. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror who conforms to the specifications listed above. Price shall include any applicable shipping costs. Shipping location(s) available upon request. Offerors shall provide anticipated delivery date. We reserve the right to award to a vendor that is more expensive if their delivery date is anticipated to be significantly less than the lowest priced offeror. SOLICITATION FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) # DJMS-10-Q-0097. Interested parties shall respond to the solicitation requirement no later than 1:00 PM EST, Thursday September 30, 2010. Responses must be in writing and submitted to Patrick Keefe by email, Patrick.Keefe@usdoj.gov All questions should be directed to Patrick Keefe via e-mail on or before 12:00 PM EST on Thursday, September 30, 2010.
