Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Innovations and Emerging Technologies (I&ET) team on behalf of USDA agencies is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as part of a market research and information gathering to determine the availability of Enterprise Integrated Unified Communications (UC) and Mobility services, products, and facilities in the marketplace, that are cost effective, interoperable, secure (IAW FISMA requirements), reliable, robust, and scalable. At a minimum, vendors must provide a strategic vision and framework on how USDA would transform the workforce to include, but not limited to, permanent federal employees, temporary employees, partners, customers, constituents, and contractors to leverage UC and Mobility services (e.g. mobile device/service management, business continuity, multiple development platforms), products, and infrastructure hosting support. Descriptions of the specific areas of interest are attached. All vendors are requested to provide a description of their costing model along with their response. ADDED: RESPONSES ARE OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED VENDORS, WITHOUT LIMITATION TO SIZE. LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND TO THIS RFI. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
