Description
Request for Quote N00104-11-Q-Q229 This Request for Quote (RFQ) seeks technical and price submissions for Commercial long distance telecommunication services, incoming and outgoing, at Naval Station (NAVSTA), Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to/from accessible worldwide locations. Official service provided by this contract is used to supplement Government owned and operated facilities. Class B service provided shall include service to residential quarters, military Bachelor Quarters (BQ), telephone pay stations and private contractors. Currently, NAVSTA Guantanamo has approximately 5,802 personnel assigned and 9,600 lines in service. The estimated total usage, including Class B, for this requirement is approximately 19,073,434 call minutes. Of the estimated total usage, the number of outbound call minutes is approximately 17,985,600 and inbound call minutes is approximately 1,087,834. The contractor shall provide and maintain telephone pay station shelters and equipment listed in Attachment I. The Government will consider both flat rate and time-of-day/day-of-week calling plans. The submissions shall provide the vendor ™s approach to meeting the criteria in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in this RFQ. The NAVICP is soliciting, technical and price proposals for this requirement in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13.5. The result of this RFQ will be a Firm Fixed priced Task Order with a base period of performance consisting of a base year and two 1-year options. Interested parties shall email the Contract Specialist and request access to the complete RFQ in the NAVICP eProcurement system. The Contract Specialist will initiate vendor/respondent access and/or registration in the NAVICP eProcurement system which will allow viewing of the complete RFQ and associated documents.
