- HOSE ASSEMBLY, NONMETALLIC. RUBBER, SUCTION AND DISCHARGE. The approved source is EATON-AEROQUIP INC DIV FLUID (01276) P/N FK6240RRR0740 THIS SHELF LIFE ITEM IS NON-EXTENDABLE, CODE W, WITH A TOTAL SHELF LIFE OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY MONTHS. MATERIAL FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT/ ORDER SHALL HAVE AT LEAST 85% (102 MONTHS) OF THE SHELF LIFE REMAINING AT TIME OF DELIVERY. The Government intent is to award a fixed quantiy contract for 215pc to include a 100% quanity option. Estimated value (Base + options) = $364,424. The solicitation will open or about November 16, 2010. A copy of this written solicitation will be posted on the following website: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
