- Description
- 1.What is the rationale for the professional certification and/or accreditation for providing the retreat? This mitigates risks (physical, psychological, etc) to assure the optimum delivery of transitional recovery conditions and resources for participants and assure qualified personnel training in this type of service. 2.What are the demographics (i.e. age, rank, marital status, socio-economic status)of the women besides the geographical areas they are coming from? The demographics of the women attendees are unknown at this time. They will be returning female combat veterans from the National Guard, the Reserve(s), or OEF/OIF 3.What is your current transition/reentry protocol for female combat vets? The re-entry protocol is handled by the Department of Defense through their (PDRHA) Post Deployment Health Reassessment Services. As the veterans re-join their community, they may seek assistance from local vet centers. The VA does not have a protocol but offers services as requested through the nationwide vet centers. Readjustment counseling service may be provided at these vet centers, if requested. It is from this pool of veterans that we will most likely select our participants. 4. Are the female vets currently in counseling and/or support groups with the Regional Counseling Services Staff? They will be in group or individual counseling groups within the vet centers or a VA medical center. 5.Do we need to fill out a Post Performance Questionnaire? If so, where do we find this? You develop your own post performance questionnaire for the participants of the retreat based on what you want to accomplish in the retreat agenda. 6.DO we need to respond directly to E.6 52.252-1 and E.6 52.252-3 of the contract? Yes, you should address applicable items in 52.212-1 in your offer and complete the information on your company in the Representations and Certifications' to verify information on your company.
