- Description
- Solicitation SP4510-11-R-5000 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP will be for DLA Disposition Services' excess property management relating to the control and accountability of items from receiving property through reutilization, transfer, donation (RTD), or other disposal action at various locations in Iraq. The contractor will be responsible for providing qualified supervisors, material handling equipment operators, torch cutters, laborers, customer service clerks, and administrative assistants. Tasks to be performed for managing property under the contract includes, but is not limited to receiving, moving, issuing, demilitarization, and providing customer service. The Government anticipates that proposals will be evaluated for past performance, technical proposal, and price. The resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity labor hour contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Disposition Services. The anticipated issue date for this RFP is November 15, 2010. To obtain a copy of the full RFP, access the Federal Business Opportunities website. DLA Disposition Services DOES NOT maintain a bidder's mailing list; therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website to determine if the solicitation has been issued and monitor the site for any amendments issued until offers are due.
