Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans has a requirement for Diving Service. The work to be performed will be in support of navigation, flood control, environmental projects, and other Corps of Engineers related missions. This solicitation is 100% set aside for a Small Business. The Request for Proposal is for a firm-fixed price service contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-11-T-0007. The NAICS code 561990. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 1629. The RFP and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizops.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbizops website for any amendments, updates, offerors, library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbizops website. Any communications must identify the RFP number, W912P8-11-T-0007 company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call requests will be accepted. The solicitation will issued on or about 16 Nov 2010 with a closing date of 10 Dec 2010. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Effective January 1, 2005, all contractors who submit an offer/bid are required to register in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
