Description
This solicitation was previously advertised under W912ER-10-R-0097. The solicitation is now listed under W912ER-11-R-0013. If you previously submitted your request under the previous number there is no need to resubmit. Your request will be included in the planholders list for receipt of the solicitation once issued. There is a change in the POCs, see below. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, intends to solicit and award a single Firm Fixed Price Construction contract for two projects under this solicitation number. The description of the projects are Expand Cargo Handling Area and Expeditionary Airlift Shelter. The Cargo Handling Area entails construction of a 20,000sm expansion to an existing cargo handling area for both inbound and outbound cargo processing. The work will include pavements, supporting infrastructure which includes power and electrical connections and other necessary site improvements. This project will comply with DOD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria. The second project under this solicitaiton is for an Expeditionary Airlift Shelter Project which entails construction of a 2,200SM expeditionary airlift shelter for conducting minor field maintenance and fuel cell maintenance on deployed aircraft. The work will consist of pavements, fire protection system, supporting infrastructure to include power and electrical connections and other necessary site improvements. This project will comply with the DOD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria.
