- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial products: All supplies and services necessary to supply to steel work platforms. 0001- Cotterman Model 3DWP3648RL or equal. Welded steel work platform, 3 step double work platform, 30” platform height, 36” wide platform by 48” length, Option R (Handrails), Option L (Safelock caster system). Grawy powder coated painted finish. 20 Each. 0002 – Cotterman Model 6DWP3648RL or equal, 6 step double work platform, 60” platform height, 36” wide platform x 48” length, Option R (Handrails), Option L (Safelock Caster System), Gray powder coated finish, 30 Each. FOB: Destination for delivery to 4860 S Superior Ave, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707-7325. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FA4877-11-Q-0131. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard 332999, Size Standard, 500 Employees, applies to this procurement.IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition, all listed by reference in accordance with FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Included by Reference(http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm) : The provision at 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal The provision at FAR 52.247-37 FOB Destination The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitiation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) price; The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Alt. 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
