- RFQ SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and/or supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The government intends to acquire services using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary has a requirement for a contractor to provide vessel operations support services for 67-foot West Coast Regional Research Vessel, R/V FULMAR. Entire solicitation is attached. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561990 with a small business size standard of $7M. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded with period of performance commencing approximately Dec 15, 2010 through March 15, 2010 with an additional two option periods. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication. Vendors responding to RFQ must submit technical proposal and documentation that demonstrate qualifications. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
