- This is a Notice of Intent to issue a sole source purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 to Warren Caterpillar for specialized Caterpillar equipment repair services. Any purchase order will be awarded under other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. Telephone requests or inquiries WILL NOT be accepted.
