Description
TRICARE Management Activities (TMA) Great Lakes Military Medical Support Office (MMSO) is to request a 12 month maintenance support agreement for a Deltec 9000 UPS System. The maintenance support agreement will provide ready access to replacement parts and technical support in order to ensure 24/7 system availability for the Military Medical Support Office (MMSO) system users. The statutory permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is for continued life-cycle maintenance support for a Deltec 9000 Uninterruptible Power System. Eaton is the only manufacturer that provides maintenance support for this equipment. Eaton does not have any authorized resellers who can provide support for this equipment. Maintenance provided by other than an authorized manufacturer could result in damage to this system and non-availability of replacement parts. This could results in MMSOs mission critical systems being unavailable to users. The Deltec 9000 UPS System enables MMSO to maintain the security and accreditation requirements necessary to meet Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAVA) requirements in order to operate on a DoD network. Any firm that believes it can provide the services required is invited to submit a written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide these services. Information must be sent to Ms. Jennifer Dunlap via e-mail utilizing MS Word or.PDF File at jennifer.m.dunlap@us.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source Contract.
