Description

Provide all necessary architectural and engineering services required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, including services throughout construction for Project No. 581-11-102, śConstruct Dialysis Clinic B1W ť at the VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Road, Huntington, West Virginia. Area involves 5000 square feet on second floor of Bldgs. 1 and 1W, former patient rooms. Work includes interior demolition and construction of new architectural, mechanical, electrical and telecommunication, plumbing, and fire protection. Project consists of design a new 12 station dialysis suite (with future expansion of 8 additional stations) for inpatient and outpatient treatment. The space will include isolation area and additional support service space for water treatment, equipment process cleaning and soiled, equipment repair, staff toilets, storage space. Administrative functions include waiting, reception, office for director and physician, exam room and break area for staff. Construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 500 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. The NAICS code is 541310 and the size standard is $4.5 million. This request is open to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns only. Contract award is subject to the availability of VA funds. A/E Selection criteria will include: 1) Team Proposed for this Project; 2) Proposed Management Plan; 3) Previous Experience of Proposed Team; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) Proposed Design Approach; 6) Project control; 7) Estimating effectiveness. 8) Sustainable Design; 9) Miscellaneous Experience and Capabilities. This is not a request for proposal.
