Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is providing a site visit for prospective Offerors to view the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Global Network Ops Support Center (GNSC), Bldg. 3189, Scott Air Force Base, IL on December 03, 2010 commencing at 8:00 a.m. and ending approximately 5:00 p.m. The DISN GNSC site visit is available ONLY FOR OFFERORS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL IN RESPONSE TO THE GSM OPERATIONS SOLICITATION (DRFP/RFP NO: HC1028-10-R-2000). The DISN GNSC site visit is NOT available for prospective Offerors who intend to submit a proposal/offer for any other solicitation issued by DISA. A prospective Offeror submitting a proposal in response to the GSM-Operations DRFP/RFP is interpreted to mean the prime contractor and its team of subcontractor(s) and/or teaming partner(s). Each prospective Offeror is limited to one DISN GNSC site visit, with no more than a total of five individual team members attending the DISN GNSC site visit simultaneously. The prospective Offeror's request to attend the DISN GNSC site visit must be submitted by the prospective Offeror who is to be considered the Prime Contractor. The Offeror's team members (i.e., subcontractor(s)/teaming partner(s)) shall not request separate site visits. Duplicate requests shall be rejected by the Contracting Officer. The DISN GNSC will consist of a briefing of the GSM-Operations Performance Work Statement followed by a walk-through of selected workplace/office areas. Offerors' questions will not be answered during any portion of the DISN GNSC site visit and must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at the DISNGSM@disa.mil email address. Written questions will be responded to via a subsequent FedBizOpps notice. A prospective Offeror wishing to attend the DISN GNSC site visit must submit a written request to the GSM Contracting Officer no later than 1:00 p.m. CST, 24 November 2010. Verbal requests to attend the site visit will not be accepted. The Government will make no arrangements for Offerors who submit a request after 1:00 p.m. on 24 November 2010. The request to attend the site visit must be submitted to the GSM Contracting Officer at DISNGSM@disa.mil ONLY. Requests submitted to any other email address will not be accepted. The Offeror's written request to attend the DISN GNSC Site Visit must include the following information: Name of Prime Offeror Prime Offeror Point of Contact to include: name, email and telephone number Alternate Point of Contact to include: name, email and telephone number Team Members attending the Site Visit to include: Name of Individual Telephone Number Company Name Note: All team members requiring access to the DISN GNSC site visit are required to hold a security clearance equivalent to or higher than "SECRET". Upon receipt of the prospective Offeror's request, the Contracting Office will provide additional instructions to ensure access to site. All prospective Offerors wishing to attend the DISN GNSC site visit are responsible for arranging travel accommodations. The Contracting Officer is only responsible for alerting the appropriate Base and DISN GNSC activities of proposed visitors. The Contracting Officer (and any other Government activity) are not be responsible for travel delays incurred by the Offeror (Airline, Base Visitor Center and/or DISN GNSC Security Office, etc.).
