Description
Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has a requirement to overhaul, redesign, upgrade, fabricate, integrate, install, deliver and test two (2) MH-60S Avionics Maintenance Trainers (AMT) and upgrade, install and test two (2) Mission Configuration Trainers/Weapon Load Trainers (MCT/WLT) and their associated technical documentation, located at NAS North Island, San Diego, CA and NAS Norfolk, VA. The effort is to baseline each trainer's configuration to the latest MH60S System Configuration (AOP 86.X), and to potentially upgrade the devices to subsequent AOPs. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6910 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333319. Small Business size standard is 500 employees. NAWCTSD is hosting an Industry Day for interested contractors on 7 - 9 December 2010 in support of the upgrade of the MH-60S AMT and MCT/WLT. The purpose of Industry Day is to provide a requirements briefing and allow the contractors to visit the MH-60S AMT and MCT/WLT Simulators at NAS North Island. Interested sources will have the opportunity to pose questions and provide input into the requirement development. Scheduled times will be allotted for one-on-one discussions as requested by each prime contractor in attendance. The purpose of the Industry Day One-on-One communication meetings is to allow industry the opportunity to openly communicate with the Government by providing comments and inputs early enough in the procurement process for consideration during the procurement strategy. The date and time of requested One-on-One session will be sent via email directly to each interested contractor by 1600 on Friday, 3 December 2010. If any companies are considering partnering with one of the other companies attending the industry day and would mutually agree to a combined one-on-one session, please include that information in response to this notification. The event will be held at the main conference room of Building 698 at the Naval Air Station in North Island, CA. (Directions and maps will be provided at a later date).
