- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following Workers' Compensation Medical Case Management Services for the TSA workforce throughout the U.S. and its territories. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to MCA Innovations Joint Venture, 7005 W. Calavar Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381-4706. This contract will address the requirements of the Workers' Compensation Program. The Workers' Compensation Program (WCP) Office is responsible for the overall program management and administration of the TSA Workers' Compensation Program. This office provides technical advice, guidance, and program support to supervisors, managers, and WCCs regarding program requirements and compliance with FECA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 (specifically 6.302-1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly. All interested vendors may submit their capability statement or proposal to the TSA Office of Acquisition (OA). Submissions shall not exceed ten (10) pages in length. Capability statements and proposals are required to be received electronically via email to Yolanda.Stone@dhs.gov, Subject: HSTS01-11- WCMCMS Special Notice, no later than December 03, 2010, 2:00 p.m. EST.
