These ISO containers may have a variety of defects; however each must meet UNICOR's definition of Grade "A", meaning the following will apply: o The container will be free of rust on all sides, roof and the underside. (Surface rust is considered acceptable and will be minimal. There should be no flaking, pitting or bubbling of the metal on the containers.) o Dents are permissible. However, the deflection (inward or outward) will be no greater than the depth of the corrugated container walls. o The container doors will be operational. o Painted logos are acceptable, provided no rust, peeling, bubbling flaking or other defects are present. o Condition of the underside undercoating must be sufficient as to protect the surface from moisture. o The container will sit flat when placed on a solid surface. o The container will be water and wind tight. (A container cannot have defects which impact its designed ability to protect the content within. The inspection MUST allow easy access to the inside and the outside of each container while it is still on the flatbed. The doors must be able to open and allow access for this inspection as it sits on the flatbed. Containers which cannot be properly inspected as described above will be refused and returned to you at your expense. Each 20' and 40' shipping container delivered MUST be correctly positioned on the flatbed so that each container can be thoroughly inspected while it is on the delivery truck. If a single flatbed carries two (2) containers there must be enough space between the containers to allow for a detailed inspection. Again, all doors of each container MUST be able to open fully to allow for inspection while on the flatbed. Transportation by chassis with lock down corners or via flatbed. NOTE: blocking under the containers with a minimum of 4" in height is REQUIRED when there are no forklift holes underneath the container.
