Description
**This synopsis replaces the one for solicitation W58RGZ-07-R-0273.** The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the SERVO CYLINDER INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1650-01-216-6000 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 206-076-031-105 The proposed contractual action will be for a Five Year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost-Plus Fixed Fee type contract, with a minimum quantity of 10 and a maximum of 310 which includes a quantity of 62 for FMS. This is a Critical Safety Item. This item is not being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, commercial item, commercial items with customary or minor modifications, or non-development items. There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this overhaul. It is restricted to approved sources only. The requirement of the Servo Cylinder is limited to Bell Helicopter Textron Incorporated, Cage Code 97499, and Woodward HR Textron, Cage Code 81873. The contractor owns the data rights exclusively. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. The required production schedule is 2 per month. Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be 90 days ARO. Firms that recognize and perform maintenance and overhaul on the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. No telephone requests or emails for solicitation will be accepted. REQUEST FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR FAX at 256-955-9237. You may MAIL your request to CCAM-AL-M, Attn: Jody Byrd, Contract Specialist, US Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: CCAM-AL-M, Jody Byrd, Bldg 5303, M&O, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depending upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
