Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District, Winchester, Virginia will issue a Request for Proposal and award a contract for the Command Liaison Element (CLE - III). USACE has a requirement for operation and maintenance services in support of CLE at various locations throughout Iraq. The contractor shall provide the following: "Housekeeping and Janitorial Service. "Laundry Services. "Motor Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Services for non-tactical vehicles. "Information Technology (IT) Support Services. "Facility and Utility Operation and Maintenance and Repair Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; water distribution; waste water systems; electrical systems and power generation. "Maintenance and repair of buildings and structures and sub-systems and components. "Maintenance and repair to site-specific grounds maintenance and repair, mowing, leaf removal, tree trimming, erosion control, and fertilization. "Perform control services including insect, rodent and feral animal control program. "O&M temporary minor construction and site restoration for Resident and Field Offices - by direction of the Contracting Officer A single firm fixed price contract will be awarded. There will be low dollar, cost-reimbursable CLINs included in the solicitation, but the preponderance of CLINs will be FFP. The period of performance is one (1) twelve-month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will be included in the solicitation. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available. The solicitation will be available in FEDBIZOPPS. Contracting Procedures: The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Request for Proposal will contain complete evaluation criteria. This acquisition will result in a single contract award based on the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. Acquisition Time Line: The RFP will be issued on or about 5 December 2010. Contracting Office Address: USACE Middle East District, P.O.
