Description

Sole Source Justification HAND RAILING AND ACCESSORIES. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The solicitation number is FA8601-11-T-0014. The NAICS Code is 332996. The size standard is 500 employees. The proposed source is The Hollaender Mfg. Co, 10285 Wayne Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45215. The purchase is for 1 ½ External Wall Flanges, Railing End Caps, Railing Corners (left and right) and 1 ½" pipe to enclose museum exhibits. The purchase is required to interchange with existing rails and to maintain continuity in exhibits. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
