Description
Sole Source Letter This is a proposed sole source acquisition with Mar Cor Service Inc. to supply filtration, water treatment, and disinfection products and services for medical and life sciences for Keesler Air Force Base, MS from 1 Jan 2011 thru 30 Sep 2011. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 1 Dec 2010. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310 and the size standard small business standard is $7.0M. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. All prospective offerors may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the offer due date specified on the solicitation/RFQ will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
