Description

This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to November 22, 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS code is 3339113. The size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. The list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN w/DESCRIPTION/QTY/UNIT/UNIT PRICE/TOTAL AMOUNT The SFVAMC surgical clinic is requesting a "Brand Name or Equal" Gamma Detection System with the following salient Characteristics: 1. Detection of gamma radiation in a surgical patient setting to include a minimum of 1 isotope with Tc99M(Technetium-99) Probes must be capable of use with a sterile environment for both open procedures as well as endoscopy. Range of size is desirable, but not mandatory 2. Probes must be capable of sterilization between surgical cases 3. Wireless connectivity to probes is desirable, but not mandatory 4. Equipment must be able to conduct a full boot up in less than 30 Seconds 5. Natural Sloped front Display (Min 59 Minutes) 6. Electroluminescent Segmented display behind black plastic shield 7. Visual Count accumulation Bar in display 8. Both Binary and Dynamic modes available 9. Background to target count ration display One year warranty, including probes which is standard for the equipment.
