Description
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested small businesses with experience relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes 561790 (size standard is 7.0 million). This acquisition will be a 100% small business set aside. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms to respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: name, address, phone, fax, email and website if applicable. Please note companies must be registered under the above NAICS code via the central contractors registration (CCR) website. This information must be emailed to the attention of SrA Seth Stambaugh at seth.stambaugh @tyndall.af.mil by 9:00 am (CST) 23 November 2010. Any resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order and will require the contractor to provide (QUANTITY: 1 year of pool service) to include: Maintenance for Pool for Obstacle Course Area. Pool Dimensions: 15' x 71', grade from 4' to 7' with a 55,000 gallon capacity. Weekly service calls shall include: Performing manufacturer's recommended recurring maintenance on all system components (i.e. pumps, filtration) -Pool vacuuming -Pool system operation check and backwashing -Pool water chemical treatment Pool water testing to meet the following requirements: -Chlorine residual--3-5 ppm -pH--7.2-7.8 -Alkalinity--80-100 ppm -Calcium--250-400 ppm -Stabilizer Level--20-100 ppm Contractor shall log all visits with date/time, technician's name, maintenance performed, and any notations necessary. When using chlorine tablets, a floating basket shall be used to prevent floor deterioration. If any additional work, repair, or parts are needed over and above what has been stated, authorization is required from the customer and contracting office. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the maintenance. This sources sought notice shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the Government.
