- The Syracuse VA medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY, 13210, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, facilities, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to perform and complete the repair and renovation of room NG 49, at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Project includes but not limited to mechanical and electrical, site work and lighting. Evaluation and repair of the roof as needed. Complete retrofit of the HVAC. Repair administrative spaces by rearranging interior walls, painting interior walls, and replacing interior finishes as required. Replace all ceiling grid. Replace light fixtures with energy efficient light fixtures. Replace flooring where applicable. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code for this work is 236210. The small business size standard is $33.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This action is being procured as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about January 7th, 2011. This project is SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABLIITY OF FUNDS. A site visit is scheduled for December 17th, 2010, at 1300 hrs, (1:00 P.M., EDT). Interested offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov, or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn,gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The solicitation and associated information including the plans and specifications will be available from the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPS) website https://www.fbo.gov/. Amendments, if and when issued will be posted to the FEDBIZOPS site for electronic downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Websites are occasionally inaccessible due to various reasons. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the documents posted on the referenced web pages.
