Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT:Scott Mahoney, AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-EC, (732) 532-7508 This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the Modification Kits established for the Trailer Mounted Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) used with the PATRIOT Missile Defense System, NSNs: 6115-01-571-1946, 6115-01-571-2011, and 6115-01-571-2013. The EPP III is the main electric power source for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System and the modification kits have been established to standardize the EPP III. This acquisition is a one-time buy of 32 complete EPP III modification kits, P/N:015.05.0015 CAGE:1VD61, 24 control cabinet modification kits, P/N:420.02.0592 CAGE:1VD61, and 24 diesel engine modification kits, P/N:280.06.0277 CAGE:1VD61. The current source for these kits is Lechmotoren GMBH, CAGE:D0857, in Altenstadt, Germany. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-EC, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
